Welcome back to Talking Tails!
The studio is gearing up for our 12th semiannual Paw Prints event, a pet portrait fundraiser for the Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC). Our Mom is a strong supporter of the Humane Society and with Joey being a HSC alum, so are we! For a donation of $25 or 10 pounds of food, you can enjoy a 15 minute pet portrait session. The event will be held on Saturday, March 5.
Let’s share the scoop on Paw Prints. It is a great day! We love the event because we get to meet so many new dogs and see some of our old friends, like Murphy, Pip, Sushi, Mochi, Lucas, and Diego. Plus everyone is looking and smelling their absolute best when they come for their photo opp. You can even include your humans in the picture with you…unless you want to steal the show! Some of the dogs bring their favorite outfits, bowties, ribbons, or sports team gear to accessorize for their photo shoot. When you finish posing for your pictures on the backdrops and sets of your choice, you can help yourself to a pupcake or a carob-dipped milk bone. Yummy! Our house smells so good when Mom and Dad are making these treats! There are snacks for your humans too.
Over the past 11 Paw Prints events, our Mom has taken images of approximately 406 dogs and cats. Wow, that’s a lot of smiles and tail wagging! Additionally, the events have generated $7,215 and 737 pounds of food as donations to the Humane Society of Charlotte. Knowing how much this helps all the shelter animals is a great feeling.
So, if you have a flexible Saturday schedule, we hope you consider joining us at Paw Prints. We are sure you will feel as good as we do about supporting the efforts of the Humane Society of Charlotte. They touch the lives and hearts of so many animals and humans.
