Talking Tails - 9/3/19

As of September 1, 2019, dogs will be allowed in North Carolina breweries and taprooms. Thank you, Governor Roy Cooper! The governor signed into law the Alcoholic Beverage Control reform bill, allowing dogs in breweries as long as food is not prepared on the premises. This bill overturns a previous restriction that barred us from these establishments. The previous statute had considered beer as a food. Silly, right?

With over 200 breweries in the state, this is great news for them, their communities, and the dog nation. Oh, and if your humans prefer wineries, no problem. We are allowed in those too!
