Have you heard that the Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) has planned a Mega Adoption Event? We are so pumped because the goal of this event is to find homes for 500 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. That will make for a lot of happy fur balls and humans!
Mark the dates of September 18-20 on your calendar for Charlotte’s Largest Ever Pet Adoption Event. The HSC is partnering with shelters and rescue groups throughout the Charlotte area. Word on the street is that the American Pit Bull Foundation, Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue, and God’s Grace Canine Rescue are a few of the groups that will be at the adoption event. It will be held at the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo on Statesville Road.
Our Mom will be there. She is so excited to have the opportunity to photograph each of the animals adopted along with their human. There will be lots of smiles in those pictures! Joey, a HSC alum, and Buster, his biggest fan, would like to personally thank all those involved in the Mega 500 Adopt-a-Thon, including sponsors, shelters and rescue groups, volunteers, and attendees. Going to a loving home is every one of these animals’ wish.
