Talking Tails - National Dog Party Day

Although we all love a good party, we want to be respectful of the recommendations to social distance and gather only in small groups during the COVID-19 pandemic. We may need to put partying with our buddies off until next year’s National Dog Party Day. For this year, join me in one of the following fun alternatives to celebrate the human-dog bond.

• Enjoy your favorite treat, homemade or purchased, in celebration of this special day. Check out our favorite homemade pupcakes!

• Focus on dogs less fortunate than yourself. Perhaps, your human could donate items to one of your local animal shelters.

• Go shopping with your human to your favorite pet store. Make sure your human is wearing a face mask.

• Have a quiet, relaxing day – nap, take a walk, hang out with your human – maybe some cuddles, play ball or whatever makes you happy!
